MedLINK at Capital Hill Welcomes Gerrity to Manage Nursing Center

WASHINGTON, D.C. - (January 25, 2006) - MedLINK Hospital and Nursing Center at Capital Hill welcomes James J. Gerrity as Administrator for the nursing center.

"We are thrilled to have James on our team," says Eric Rieseberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at MedLINK at Capital Hill, and President and Chief Operating Officer for Specialty Hospitals of America, LLC, which took management of the hospital and nursing center in late 2005. "James is dedicated to patient care, has a team-oriented approach and is an expert in putting the practices in place that will keep this facility top-notch."

Gerrity brings a wealth of health care management experience, including previous work with MedLINK at Capital Hill as health care administrator and chief executive officer. During his time with the facility, Gerrity managed the development and implementation of quality care initiatives that increased the center's level of excellence, and oversaw the growth of the facility from 35 to 60 beds.

"I am overwhelmed with excitement about the opportunity to rejoin the Capital Hill team," says Gerrity. "I see this as an opportunity to build on what was started several years ago and expand on quality patient care."

Within Gerrity's overall focus to continue and improve upon quality patient care, he will be putting into action three key initiatives: systems/procedure implementation, teamwork development and staff education.

Gerrity's experience includes management roles with Beverly Enterprises, Ingleside Retirement Community, and Prince William Health System's Annaburg Manor.
